Looking for more training for your player? Want to try a club experience? The 2017 Commonwealth Soccer Club Camp sessions will help your child develop their soccer skills in preparation for the Fall season. Take a look at our camp offerings directed by Director of Coaching, Dr. Jim Tussey.

Basic Skill Development Camp

June 12 – June 15 9:00-11:00 AM
$105 per player For ages 6-11
Registration deadline: June 10 Rain makeup June 16

This camp will provide basic skill training to improve a player’s ability to dribble, pass and shoot. Players will be trained to improve first touch on the ball and encouraged to use all surfaces of the foot. Any player who is serious about improving their skill level will want to attend this camp.

Small-Sided Possession Training Camp

June 12 – June 15 6:00-8:00 PM
$105 per player For ages 12-14
Registration deadline: June 10 Rain makeup June 16

It is very important at this age to have a good skill set for possessing the ball under pressure. This camp will spend two hours a day working on small-sided possession games to improve a player’s vision and decision making with the ball. This is fast-paced training that will lead to quicker play and decisions on the field. The camp will be both fun but demanding for the players.

Colts Camp

June 19 – June 22 9:00-10:30 AM
$85 per player For ages 4-6
Registration deadline: June 15 Rain makeup June 23

This camp offers age appropriate skill training for young recreational players that are looking for better training. It will include basic ball skills, fun development games. This camp will both complement and boost those basic skills learned through recreational programs, and begin the player’s ascent into competitive programs.

Pre-Season High School Camp

June 19 – June 22 2:00-4:00 PM
$105 per player For 8th-12th grades
Registration deadline: June 15 Rain makeup June 23

This camp is for aspiring high school players before the trout process. This camp will offer a fitness and strength component as well as “Speed of Play” intense training for players who desire to be playmakers and make faster decisions on the ball. Includes restricted space possession games and small-sided games to goal. The training will involve lots of touches on the ball and lots of movement to create space and opportunities for attacking soccer.

All camps located at Lexington Christian Academy Campus, 450 W. Reynolds Road, Lexington, KY.
