The Commonwealth Soccer Club is committed to developing every player for high school and college.  The club's advantages include:
  • Training and home games take place at Lexington Christian Academy - centrally located with quality training fields.
  • Academy training led by Michelle Rayner with emphasis on player development in a fun environment.  See our dedicated web page.
  • U10-U18 coaching staff led by Directors Pete Akatsa and Megan Skinner - including coaches from local universities.
  • Over 20 teams strong - including many that are competing at the highest levels of tournament and league play.

2010 Kentucky State Open Cup Finalist
Congratulations to Coach Matt Wilkerson and the 95 Girls Gold Team on their runner-up finish this
past weekend in Bowling Green. 

The team overcame a tough United team prevailing on PKs after a scoreless game and two overtime
periods before falling in the finals.  An outstanding year for all.

2010 Kentucky State Open Cup Semi-finalist
Congratulations to Coach Aaron Rodgers and the 93 Girls Gold Team on a great season. 

The girls came up short in a tough game against eventual state champion Mockingbird in the semi-
finals of the State Cup.  An outstanding year for all.

Lexington Christian Academy
Lexington Christian Academy continues to improve its already tremendous athletic facilities by adding
irrigation systems over spring break to its soccer playing surfaces.  The club would like to express
another special "THANK YOU" to our loyal friends at LCA, including Evan Mossberger and the LCA athletic
facility staff, for all of their hard work and effort in support of Commonwealth SC and its continually
growing needs.
